The Australian Women's Weekly range of books has been delighting beginners and experienced cooks alike for over 30 years. The Australian Women's Weekly Books is a specialist business unit within ACP magazines: we have our own Editors, Designers, Marketing and Sales teams who bring their specific experience to bear in the creation of each title. Potential new titles are discussed with the world famous Test Kitchen, to ensure maximum originality, taste sensation and most importantly, achievability for every single recipe. We take our creation and testing process very seriously: the recipes are developed by the food technicians and then cooked using all domestic appliances by qualified Home Economists. Each dish is then shared for tasting by everybody in the Test Kitchen to see if there are improvements that could be made. Every recipe is cooked by the TK team three times to ensure the ingredients and instructions will deliver the best possible result.

To create the images for the books, we hire the best independent food photographers from around the world to make sure the food looks as delicious as it possibly can. A key figure in the photographic process is the stylist who creates the ambience and context for the food. If we are doing a book of cocktails: the right glasses for each drink and all the props to suggest how best to achieve the right look and feel in the home. If the book is on Thai or Asian cuisine, then we want to make sure the servings look good on the appropriate plate or bowl.Our cookery books aim to inspire everybody from the most faint-hearted cook to the already confident home chef. If our ingredients, pictures and explanations can do this, we know that our books will truly deserve the epithet of the worlds favourite cookery books.
